We sold our home in Green Bay in 2009 and moved about 30 miles north of Atlanta, GA to escape the Frozen Tundra, long winters, and to be close to our daughter and her family. We did return to the Northwoods of WI, near Minocqua, during the summer months to escape the oppressive heat and humidity of the south, but our age and physical limitations required that we sell our little summer home in the fall of 2020. I miss the midwest very much, especially the beauty of nature and all the lakes. We enjoy the milder and shorter winters here, and it is also nice to have four seasons, but the traffic is horrific, and the drivers are CRAZY.

Thank you for spotting the Puffer Fish. I'm formerly from Green Bay, WI, and one of my favorite vacations was doing the circle tour around Lake Michigan. It was memorable! I love lake Superior as well. My garden pic is of a part of beach on the southern shoreline of Lake Superior near Ironwood, MI at Little Girls Point, another favorite spot of mine.
