Hi Ellen, Wow, You sure copped it. What happeens now, do you have to hire some one to dig you out or do you have enough supplies to wait it out? I would imagine that would take some time. Now you need our heat to melt it all for you. I was reading some other posts, some have had icy snow and others soft snow. Icy snow must be dangerous, you wouldn't want to be driving for quite awhile. We see the results of driving on ice, on our News service, huge pile ups. Stay safe and warm. xx

This is my weekend...today 109.4F, Sunday 98.4F, Monday (we have a holiday, it's Aust. day) 113F, Tuesday 100.4. It will be the hottest Australia day in many years, total Fire ban, definitely no BBQ's allowed. Will just hibernate with air con when the house starts to warm up, it's fine at the moment. I will have to go out for a bit tomorrow (coolest day) to visit a friend with some stuff I bought for her, luckily she's got air con. xx
