The quiz night is held at my local tavern. This was their 3rd week. My darling is a smart man with quick recall, so I have the best partner for quizzing 🤣

Hi Ellen, my partner and I went to quiz night last night. It's only in its infancy, 3rd week running. 1st week him & 2 friends came first. Last week and last night we placed second. Common factor is my darling. He's one smart cookie, although I like to think I helped ☺️

Hi Ellen, I've forgotten, how do you get into the Marketplace?
We are now in the beginning of Autumn, the early mornings and nights can get quite chilly now but the days are lovely, roughly about 77F. I was just outside, thinking of doing some lawn mowing but realised it felt pretty warm and I'd rather leave it till it cools a bit (any excuse😃) I was going to go to the movies today to see the latest Peaky Blinders film, I'm a bit hooked on Cillian Murphy. Changed my mind because it's a holiday today so there will probably heaps of people there. If it works out, I'm going Wednesday 1pm, then 6pm going to Wuthering Heights. I've been looking at different color Crepe Myrtles. For ages I've wanted to plant one in the middle of my front garden that will grow to 5-7ft and then about 3 dwarf ones on top of a small rock wall, off to the side. It's a slow process because I'm waiting for the guy that mows, the outside (my fence) verge, to spare some time to help me. Now I've noticed that a couple that bought a house diagonally across the road from me a couple of years ago, have planted a row of them along side their front driveway and two Crepe Myrtle trees in their front yard. Do your streets get all mushy/yucky too? I suppose as long as you don't have to walk in your yard and work in your garden beds, it can sort of take it's time to dry out and be less glucky. 🤔😊xx I'm thinking about bed now, get back to my bok, I'm a bit bored.
