The Apple seeds were from an Apple.. Now I'm intrigued,  Which part of the Cactus do the seeds come from?  we have a couple of Cactus in the greenhouse.  I would love to try that.. Sorry to hear Josie not well, there's so many coughs and colds going around.  My hubby has a cough, and no one's ever had a cough as bad as this.. Good morning Rose..  It was very frosty here this morning.. Took me to defrost the car... Now the Sun's out and it's quite warm.. I planted some apple seeds and 2 of them have got little green leaves on them.. Oh Rose,  I know it's sounds  silly but I keep checking on them. Hi Rose, we are staying near Totnes and going to rather nice pub for his birthday - meeting up with my granddaughter and husband.  We will be seeing quite a bit of them over the week as we are going out with Emily on Tuesday as it's her day off, Wednesday eveing for the birthday meal, then Saturday, we are having a girlie day out in Exeter whilst George and Andy go to football, we may see my daughter and grandson if they can be bothered too.  Quite looking forward to it and it will kick off the Chrismas festivities nicely.  Quite cold this morning and got up and dressed really early because we were expecting a parcel.  Now Andy is oiling a guitar to take away with us, hope we don't have neighbours ha ha.  Enjoy the rest of your day.  xx

Hi Rose, Thanks for your helpful hints about the pots, I will keep trying, I am already quite a way down the list, so may try from the bottom up now. LOL.  At the moment, I am knee deep in tinsel, lights and tree decorations.  I did the balcony over the weekend and am doing it a bit at a time.  Indoor tree and Christmas shelf today - tree is up, just needs more lights and then decorations - the shelf takes a bit longer to arrange with lights and ornaments - by the time I've finished and switched on, my husband says we need to hope we don't get aircraft trying to land LOL.  I like to get them up for husband's birthday next week - we won't be here, but they get switched on when we get back.  Have a good week yourself and stay warm.  xx
