Well, we welcomed in the New Year with a province wide curfew from 10 pm until 5:30 am. All restaurants are closed except for take out, schools are closed until at least Jan 17th & we are not allowed gatherings of any type. Gyms, bars, movie theatres & anything enjoyable is also closed. They've even closed all stores including grocery stores on Sundays for at least the next 3 weeks. Needless to say New Year's Eve was a bust for most people this year.
It's snowing today. We can expect up to 10 or 15 cm. Glad I have nowhere to go.

Hello Sallie, it was nice to see you in my garden again! Work is going alright. My Northern Irish boyfriend broke up with me :-( And my mum's health is poor, so my mind is on that quite a lot of time. Hope you are well and can enjoy the festive season!

Hello Sallie, as Christmas approaches we are hoping to remain Covid free. We plan to go over to daughter (Mandy) for the day and I expect one or two more May turn up. It will be a tradional turkey meal but as some are vegan and others gluten free there will be alternatives. Happy days. Lots of love xxx

Hi Sallie I did get my pond finished the birds I’ve it an have pond snails and water beetles , bats late into the evening but no frogs yet they haven’t found it but did have spawn like stuff in last year but don’t think it got fertilised as came to nothing. The year previous I found a huge toad dug into the lawn which prompted me to put it in but not seen it again. Xxx
