Dogs and chickens are well. The sun is obscured by cloud today so it's a great deal more pleasant for working outside. ( I'm dismantling the extra high fencing and covered areas for the peacocks. Definitely going to be a trip to the tip in a couple of days). The chickens are missing the peacocks, I think. They used to have sleep ins either side of the fence at some point each day, and they were a bit lost yesterday and never settled anywhere. The dogs are enjoying the freedom of the peacock area while I'm working in there, and I think I'm going to adopt the bird house in there for myself. It's built on a children's A-frame play set that was left here. The frame is solid and it's covered in wrinkly tin and pine boards at the end. If it was insulated it would be quite comfy!
Now it's nap time while I digest my lunch lol x

Its just in the misc. section of pots right? Assume you only get one. Do I need to grab it before it disappears? And then could you imagine accidentally throwing it out?

Is there any benefit to keeping the rainbow flower until harvest? Someone mentioned a color changing pot. But all I know of is the one mentioned in the wildlife guide that lets you grow a rainbow flower from scratch.

I'm looking forward to some cooler weather for the next few days. I don't even mind too much if it rains, then I wont be watering things every day. I've mostly finished the big weeding jobs around the house so there are bits to do here and there. My found chicken is back with the flock again, recovered from her broody madness. She had the most thorough dust bath this afternoon and turned herself dark grey... I had to look closely to see the white underneath the dust 🤣
Lucky you getting a pineapple first go! I've tried so many times and  get apples and bananas...
