Yes eye appointment went well .go back in Nov. as they keep a close eye on me. Next is the optometrist and hopefully new glasses that don't hurt my eyes but in the meantime I have new eye drops.

Good night Sandra. Some areas in Calgary got hit hard but we just got heavy rain and winds here in Chestermere.   Some areas got marble sized hail  as well .

Wow, I have never experienced anything that cold where I live. How do you survive? I can't imagine how bitterly cold that must be.
The further south you go (like our South Island and Stewart Island) they can experience temps below zero during winter, but even then it's never that cold, maybe minus tens...if that?
I'm fortunate enough to live in on an eastern coastal town in the North Island of NZ. Which is a much warmer climate in comparison.
