Well...we just went to a Christmas market in a small town...small meaning maybe two thousand people. They sold local crafts and baked goods. The baked goods were quite expensive...I think reflecting the prices of the ingredients which they would not get at a cheaper rate as stores would. Just had to buy a very small gumdrop cake because my mother used to bake them. Hers were larger...this was a mini pan. Sixteen dollars! Tastes good though. Bought a lot of small crafts as for the most part they were inexpensive and great to have on hand for gifts. I spent almost as much on the food as I did the craft component. We bought a pan of squares and a plate of cookies as well. We know the home baker for the cookies and squares so wanted to help support her business.
