Oh I totally get that. I run a small team of cleaners a couple of decades ago while raising my kids and yes last minute phonecalls from a team member meant shuffling the team around or jumping in myself. Heck I even looked after team members kids with mine at times. One of those mothers became a friend for life and her kids call me aunty haha
In the end I sold up my contracts / business and went to work in retail. Now I look after an air b&b that is very busy and I'm currently pitching for other air b&b work and will take on another person to help with the load in a week or so. I never thought I'd do a full circle back to cleaning but here I am 🤷🏽‍♀️

Ae bakers work crazy hours. One of my son's was a chef for 7 years and hated it coz of the hours haha so now hes a social worker and works 12 hour days, 4 on / 4 off. Sleeps one, has a life during 2 days then relaxes on the fourth day.
