This morning the breeze was delightful so I stayed outside for a little while after doing some work out there. But when the temperature went up, the nap was a good idea. We both need to not get overheated so laziness is the positive agenda. Stay cool and have a relaxing day. Good night Gary 😴

Hi Gary, l hope you're recovery is progressing well. How did the sleep test go?
I've been helping the kids primary school on Fridays with garden club. It's alot of fun.
I'm still trying to complete the second pottery lottery. Then once that is done l will do a yellow trail and the summer pots. I love the new pots.

I have to go fix supper, but will send a note later. I hope that your weekend is blessed Gary. I am learning more and more about customs in other countries. From taking Latin in high school for two years I knew that Corpus Christi meant "body of Christ." But I didn't know of the special observance because I'm not a Catholic or a Lutheran. I read about it. It must be such a blessing to take part. We Baptists have "The Lord's Supper, but not too often. Actually, the only time that our church has the Lord's supper is during Holy week. I wish that it were more often because we need to be reminded of Christ's pain and tremendous sacrifice Anyway, prayers for you.

Hi, Gary. How did the sleep lab go? How are you doing with the rehab and all that jazz? How are you finding the 2 hours at work? Can you work from home or do you have to go into the office? Is anything getting easier or improving? It seems to me you've been laboring under a grueling schedule with not much comfort, so I hope things are improving and you're gaining more autonomy and freedom. You're to be commended for the amazing amount of work you've done. You are defo The Champ and someone I hold in very high esteem. You are a real role model. I hope all is well with you, Gary. 🥰🩷🌺

I appreciate the nice long note, mon Ami. I'm very proud of you. You're working harder than most of us would to get back to normal. Your positive attitude is responsible for the improvement in your health. Bill and I are on a 100 carb a day diet. My A1 was 6.8 when our GP ordered bloodwork, and so Bill went along with me on tackling the problem. He has lost thirty pounds and I've dropped 21 pounds since we started on the diet. We do almost all our meals at home, whereas we were eating out at least twice a week. I don't know if it's psychological or simply age related, but I don't have much energy. I keep telling myself that most 80 year olds aren't too active. I consider each day a gift. I'm amazed that my two brothers (83) and (77), my sister (68) and I (80) are all still alive and in good health. Keep up the good work on your exercise. I try to walk every day. As for Fairyland, I'm quite frustrated. I worked hard to get a birdbath, but am discovering that it truly isn't worth having. It draws so few chicks that it's taking me over a month to get anywhere close to finishing the Level VIII Flying the Nest Quest for the second time. The bouquets are no longer of interest to me
