Good afternoon June,  Maybe Brian figures he won't see anyone he knows when on holiday lol. That's good you took Ronnie for a walk.  Good for you coming prepared with your hat, scarf and gloves.  Moving his big toe is a start,  I would have expected him to be bruised.  I hope he is not in to much pain.  That's good you can watch a show on Netflix  while the guys watch football.  I am glad you are enjoying it.  Yes, it does get colder at night, but that cold was brutal.  Are you spending the night at Paul and Ambers tonight?  Enjoy your weekend.  Take care and stay safe my dear friend. Sending much love and big hugs xxxx

Good morning, June :-) Thank you so much for sharing your family history. I can't imagine having to cope, as you did, with the losses of your Mum, eldest sister and then your Dad is such a short space of time. You would barely have had sufficient time to grieve one loss before experiencing yet another. I am so sorry. After my Dad passed away and with my Mom's fragile health at the time, my siblings also began circling around planning for their inheritance. However, my Mom was wise to their sudden interest in visiting her and keeping in touch. Although, I am the second youngest of the four children, she made me the executor of her will, as she felt I was the only one she trusted to take care of things properly and purposely excluded my younger brother and her grandchildren (who never bothered to keep in touch or help her until they sensed her days on earth were becoming shorter) from receiving anything. It is a sad statement on people's lives and character that, when it comes to their own self-interest, they become mercenaries towards their own family. My older sister passed away from cancer before my Mother passed and my younger brother wisely did not show his face when I was settling up her estate. I haven't seen or spoken to him in decades and that suits me fine. It appears the human condition is universal. Have a wonderful Saturday xxx

Good morning Judy, It’s not nice trust me, he’s like me, can’t sing. It’s a dull grey day 10c it’s cold. I have taken Ronnie out for a walk, I have my hat, scarf and gloves with me, I am glad I brought them. Paul’s still got some discomfort, he can only move his big toe, what I can see is bruised. Paul and Brian are watching the football, I’m watching a show on Netflix that Amber told me about, it’s a good one. I am glad you had fun and you did sing. The temperature always drops at night, it’s a shock to your system when you walk out into the cold. Wishing you a wonderful weekend. Take care and stay safe my dear friend. Sending much love and big hugs xxxx

Goodnight June,  That's nice that Brian sings at karaoke on holiday.  Yes, they have a big binder of songs to pick from.  I am sorry that you felt like you had to go up and sing.  That's good you and Brian will stay with Paul while Amber goes to London.  I hope Paul is doing ok.  Good idea to switch to Paul's for Sunday roast  for the forseeable future.  Glad you had good TV.  I taped some good shows before I left.  I had fun at karaoke.  There wasn't many there with the cold.  I wish I had of stayed home though.  I was freezing just going to the car and it was even colder when we left.  I sure hope I don't get another cold. I sang one song with Mo and Sandra.  Take care and stay safe my dear friend.  Sending much love and big hugs xxxx

Goodnight Judy, Brian sings at karaoke, which is only when we've been on holiday. They do have a  good selection of songs to choose from. I can't believe Glenn sang that song too.  I couldn't believe it when they called out our names, I just sat there and they was all shouting for me to go up with June, so I did. I really didn't like it. Judy you know I can't sing, so I am not going to make a show of myself. We are over with Paul tomorrow, Amber's going to London with her friends, this date was already booked. We will have Sunday roast at Paul and Amber's for the foreseeable. TV was good again tonight, I hope you had some good show's taped for when you get home. Enjoy your evening. Take care and stay safe my dear friend. Sending much love and big hugs xxxx

Good afternoon June, That is awful that they missed seeing the break.  Things could have been much different.  I am not going to sing by myself, but might with a couple of the girls if I know the song.  I don't have the confidence to sing by myself since covid and there not being any karaoke for so long.  I used to before.  They have a whole book of songs you can choose from.  I will tell you about it tonight.  OMG, I would never sing that song.  Glenn went to karaoke once and chose that song and he was so terrible.  I would have done the same thing.  I don't even like it.  I am sorry that you felt embarrassed.  Nobody should be forced to sing if they are not comfortable.  I remember you telling me that June.  We have sun too, but still have a wind chill  of -30.  I have done some cleaning and will do laundry tomorrow. Enjoy the rest of your day  Take care and stay safe my dear friend.  Sending much love and big hugs xxxx

Good morning Judy, Paul was told it was a sprain, so he carried on as usual. Somehow they missed the break on the X-Ray. You could be right about Paul needing a hip replacement. What song is your choice on karaoke ? At one of our Christmas parties at work year’s ago, someone put my name in along with another June who worked with us, would you believe they chose, Madonna’s Like a Virgin. I turned my microphone off and left June to sing it. I can still picture my embarrassment. I have told you I haven’t been blessed with a singing voice. Another blue sky sunny day here 13c today. I am doing laundry and some housework. Wishing you a wonderful day. Take care and stay safe my dear friend. Sending much love and big hugs xxxx
