Sorry to learn of the loss of a friend Karen ♥

So I took Keeko to the vet yesterday. Turns out it wasn't an abscess tooth. She has a couple of teeth that aren't great, but she eats. So she had bloodwork done. The results come back Monday. She got checked over well. They put water in her back under her skin to hydrate her. And they clipped her nails. Its a 40 minute drive there and she cries the whole way. Funny cause on the way home she doesn't say a thing. They gave her meds for the pain and more blood pressure pills. So now when she is hurting I can give her something for the pain and it helps her. What a relief. She's 16 and won't be 17 till August. I know she can't be with me forever, but I need her right now. I gave her the smallest dose of the pain meds I could and she seems to have had a peaceful night's sleep. So for that I am grateful. Thank you for the hugs Karen. If we can't be together for a while at least I have a small cat that will be with me for a time. Have a good new year. Nice to be kind to animals. It shows the type of person you are. Take care :)

Thanks for your kind words Karen. I know it was hard losing Azzy on NY. Made me so sad. And I thought for sure Keeko would go. Entering a NY without Rudy seemed so wrong and upsetting to me. Now I find, my cat is eating and drinking and using the litter. So I reassessed her and its her tooth that's causing her so much pain. It took me too long to realize and I felt terrible. So I contacted the vet yesterday and when they opened today we made an appt for Keeko. So I'm taking her to be looked at. We have to get this tooth taken out as soon as possible so she can enjoy the rest of her life. She's 16 now. And I want her to be content for what time she has left.

Its very hard losing those we love. Even the 4 legged ones. I will tell you nothing compares to losing the love of your life. And the day I close my eyes for the last time will be the best day, because I will be back with Rudy again. And that is what I want more than anything. Meanwhile I am grateful that I can take care of myself and my cat and go to church. Those are the things that matter for now. Take care Karen. Be happy. Thank you for thinking of me :)

Happy New Year Karen. I'm sorry about your friend. One of our cats died New year's eve 2019 and that was sad. I know I am happy Rudy's no longer in pain. Its so hard to enter a new year without him. He's always been with me. Well for 1/2 my life. I will miss him till we are together again. Take care.

Yes home after a great week in london! It's been so so cold 🥶 how lovely fir your sister !!! A grand baby!!! ✨️  back to work next Monday and it's promised cold and snowy ...... woukd prefer that now so I can stay in pj's all week !!!!!! Lots of love to you ❤️

I'm with you on the chapstick!  I do like a nice tinted chapstick, but whenever I find one I like, they soon stop making it.  Happy Twixtmas, or whatever we're calling it these days! lol :)

That's so sad about the Cure band member. Gone too young like so many. :( I loved the band too back in the day, but never got to see them in concert.  Glad that you did.
