Happy FriYay! Work was steady today. Very pretty day out! We got the shopping done and over. Off to bed soon- have to get up at 6 tomorrow, my dad and step-mom are picking me up to go to my Sister-in-Law's graduation for getting her Doctorate in nursing at 9AM. Then we have lunch reservations and I'll be home sometime for a bit before heading down to my nieces dance recital at 5. Long day ahead but hopefully a good one! Have a great night!
Oh! I never thought about being stuck in home because of a gate!!!! Yikes!!!  Our garage at least has an override where I can open it manually if the power goes out. Did the storms last that long or was it just that long until they got everything up and going? I'm glad you didn't get much damage but that's a shame that others did! I'm pretty content as long as I have a good book, but when it's THAT kind of situation- oh I would have been a miserable ball of nerves! Hopefully you don't get more like that!
