a quiet evening splash and wishing you a restful good night, Kimalisa! a barn owl spotted; thanks! it's cooler here again, 55 right now. did not sleep well last night, but had plans for today so no sleeping in. and, no Ellie today. yesterday Cece and I joined Ellie and Mama Angel (my daughter) for dinner. today I drove south to Illinois, and joined a couple old friends for dinner. it's about an hour and half south of here which means planning it so I can get back home before it gets dark. we met at a favorite neighborhood tavern around 4:00, and visited for a couple hours. Dresden is curled up next to me purring now that he's had his supper. he sends snuggles to you, and to Bessie. I'm sending more everlasting ear rubs to her. Good night splash!
Grrr this internet is really pi$$ing me off! It cuts in and out so much it’s almost impossible to follow a show. We’re considering getting starlink because we’ve heard great things about it.  Johns dad was doing ok today, he got up and walked using a tall walker to lean on but would try the stairs as he said he was too tired for it. They’re talking of sending him home soon!  James is ok as well. Yes, he’s got to go in on light duties tomorrow. I think the company is just trying to get out of worker’s compensation getting involved. They said if he goes in, he can leave if it gets too much but this way they won’t have to claim time missed from an accident. I don’t know what’s better for him but he’ll try it, he said if his hand gets hurt he’s going home! 
I stayed at the hospital for a few hours and then visited with my friend for an hour. I had a massage at 3 and it was great! My shoulders are much better tonight. I had plans of getting things done when I got home but I haven’t done anything. I’m going up to the hospital again in the morning but am not staying as long and am coming straight back home so I’ll get my housework done then.
