Oh, and she also checked for hyperthyroidism but the blood hadn't come back when the office closed, so I probably won't hear til tomorrow.

My finger is fine, but Tucker probably had a stroke last night. Took him to the vet this morning, I was afraid he wouldn't last the night. But the vet did blood work and said everything looks pretty good for an old cat, kidney levels a little high but not concerning. But based on his behavior last night and the fact that his left eye shows blood, pretty sure he had a stroke. So for now we're treating him for hypertension and watching. I just love his vet! Sorry about Bessie, how is she?

a rainy evening hello, Kimalisa, and a splash! not sure who's missing who. 😊 yikes! Bessie! I hope her paw/leg is feeling better soon. could it be arthritis? whatever it is, I'm sending her lots and lots of feel better soon ear rubs. almost time here to give Dresden his supper. he sends snuggles to you, and to Bessie. it's been in the 60s here, but cooler at night so I still have the heat on. it's also been raining since mid-afternoon, and I had a lovely nap while reading. so, it's been a quiet relaxing day here. take care. and keep cool. hugs! xoxo 🌷❤️☔️
