Always good to catch up with family, and an enforced rest is a good thing sometimes. As you say, always another day. I am sure that Margot was her usual delightful self.
I managed to get into the garden for a while for weed pulling, the previous owners planted invasive 3-cornered garlic, and although it is great to use in cooking, it is kiiling all other plants, it is so prolific. Every year we pull it up and every year it seems to have multiplied.
