Friday Sprinkle for our Sweeties!
Yes,  that was an exciting night. I was so relieved to see it was a bird. Still trying to identify it. We're thinking maybe a ruffled grouse or a juvenile pheasant,  but a.few things don't match. Thus bird had a long, black beak and it had pink feet  and a little crest on it's head.
It hissed at Mike,  but wasn't really aggressive. No idea how it managed to fall down the chimney. Happily,  no injuries....it could've easily broken a wing or leg. I'll send you the pic I took when it was still in the fireplace. It doesn't do it justice....it looks like a pigeon in the photo, but was much bigger. Wish I had the video on when Mike was chasing it in the kitchen and also when he released it and it flew off.  Yes, a catch up call next week sounds good, any day works for me. Sending my Bestie lots of love, hugs and kisses ♥️♥️♥️
