Morning Dianne, I had a lovely time with Tracey & Sandra going to my favourite eating & drinking place. You mentioning smoking years ago when it was a social thing. Well my dad smoked & had a ash try on a stand beside where he sat, It was like a normal ash tray on a chrome tubing. He used to tell my kids there was a little man @ the bottom shovelling the ash away. They used to listen hoping they could hear the little man shovelling. Not sure if in these days telling kids that would be acceptable. I did some research today on Blue & Pink jobs. There doesn't seem to be any concrete answer. But a couple said it came from a 2022 tv programme & just caught on. You could start it there. Try it with your Monday club?, While trying to discover the origination I discovered that up to the 1920's you would put new born boys in blue & girls in pink. That altered by an ad where they were trying to boost sales & promoted the reverse. Also there were different colours for different jobs. I'm going on a bit again so I will just wish you another enjoyable Monday..

Been a glorious crisp day. Blue sky, chilly, but lovely. Went for a long walk in the local country park.
Did a lot of washing too.
