Morning splash--We are right at 0 so the weather could go any direction. A one point my potasium was too high and I remember I had to resrict bananas so if you like them a few a week might bring things back to normal. Kevin is coming over Sat. morning so I can get  the things I need and then I can just stay put.I think that guy on the 15th floor will be under close watch--don't know how carbon dioxide would be up there and if it was all the floors  leading up would be goners. Have a good day and I hope all goes well with the eye checkup.

I am feeding a stray black cat. He was eating cat poo in the garden and I couldn't bear that. I give him dried food. He has allowed me to stroke his head.

Hello Ed, it is a hot night here. Once again sitting outside as I write to you. I had to burn an insect coil as many strange insects were flying in.  Waiting for Mungo to come inside. He is being elusive. Mindy is inside. Now I am hearing a strange growling sound in my backyard. And Mungo has just come home. Oddly it sounds like a koala however there are no trees around here that a koala would live in. Well the growl certainly made Mungo come home and go inside. For that I am thankful. I was starting to worry about how late I would have to stay up. Just one quick answer to you. I do not recall ever being afraid of my Dad when he came home. from the Navy.  He really was a most loving father. Never stern. I recall that when I did something naughty Dad would come and speak to me about it and just one look into his eyes would make me realise I had done wrong. He never shouted or used physical  punishment. His beautiful eyes said it all. Now I really have to go to bed. Enjoy your new day.

Hello Ed, ty for the Mouse. Re accents, I grew up in a working class area and went to the local schools. My family were working class people. Mum always insisted on correct speech. No slang and certainly no swear words. And she read to me most night.s All English authors. I loved her reading voice. Home again after another great shift at the Charity Shop. Today decided to create a basket of children's books for 50 cents each. While I was in the children's book section I noticed a girl searching the shelves. I asked her "What do you like to read? Do you have a favourite author?" She told me and I scanned the books. "Could you wait here a moment? I think that I may have one in the back room." I found it, reduced the price and gave it to her. Her eyes lit up. Her parents smiled at me." Ilove moments like these. Enjoy your day.

Morning splash---it is sunny but frosty this morning which I guess is an improvement over snow on the ground and a delightfully rainy weekend but at least that will mean it has warmed up. My spy system is working--some guy on the 15th floor pulled the alarm because he thought he was getting a headache and that there was gas escaping in his apartment.No gas anythings in any apartment sothey have had problems before with this guy, But it has woke management up--they do not have anyone living in the building and no one is close enough. There was 7 big ladder trucks here(we are high rise.high risk and there is at least 2 people on everyone of the 14 floors that needs assistance getting out(Like me  -I use the walker  so can't do the stairs) Going to see if I can tackle some of the jobs I put aside.
