a sunny afternoon splash, and wishing you a restful good night, Marguerite! glad to hear you, and Pippin were able to get a dry walk in between the rains. it's 25C here, which is cooler, and we had rain this morning, and also yesterday evening. now there's sunshine streaming through the window. the boys and I are having another quiet day of reading. they send snuggles to you, and to Pippin. I'm sending Pippin dream-time ear rubs.  keeping an ear open for the timer; I have pasta cooking, and am going to make a pasta salad for dinner tonight. (and for the next several days' worth of dinners.) take care, and hugs! xxx

Thunderstorms and a lot of Bessie in my lap, lol. It seems to be ending. We received rain for the garden  😀

Hi Marguerite woke to rain this morning but that soon passed I got my washing done then used the blueberries up in a crumble . Was quite breeze out but it was a warm breeze . Froze five of my casseroles so that’s a start to filling the freezer again . I made another ten Christmas cards this afternoon and attempted to read my book but it kept falling on the floor and waking me up . Ted  popped his head round the door he escaped as Liz opened the door at her mums and came flying round to mine , they’d been to a funeral  in redbourne yesterday Liz drove there and back the same day she must have been so tired when she got back , it was Anne’s elder sister who had died they said it was nice to catch up with family from that neck of  the woods funny you only meet people at funerals you Havnt seen in years isn’t it . It remained dry here but I think the rain will hit us again early  hours and last a good part of tomorrow . I’m just in bed now been watching the tennis . Night godbless Marguerite xx
