Night time sprinkles....I just checked your weather....I see your getting snow as I write this. Ugh! I can imagine how you are feeling right now. Did you attempt to go out? I know you said you had a package delivered by the mail. Yes Ed made it home just fine. He didn't get home until about 3 pm. Scottie update. She is eating, not wanting to drink much but eats when the food is tasty. She is eating, drinking some, playing, smiling and sleeping well. Then Kathy sent me photos, they finally were able to hold her after after 11 days. They were really fighting back the tears, you can tell it was a very emotional touching moment for all of them. Brought tears to my eyes for sure. They sent photos of what is going on with her lungs, they are doing specific blood tests to try and determine exactly what type of infection they are dealing with. In one of her lungs is a air pocket, it shows some healing in one of the lungs, with fluid in the bottom, there are white spots in the middle and top which is gunk/mucus/ and infection. I think she is doing better. It seems that she is able to tolerate food, so we are hopefully they remove the NG tube. Answered prayers. I so want to be hopeful but apprehensive at the same time. I just hope she has taken a turn for the better, and on the road to recovery. It's been a long road for the whole family. Is Amanda still planning on coming next weekend? I sure hope so.
