I'm using the new mouse and it seems to be fine so I guess it wasn't me or the laptop after all. I'm pleased I don't need a new computer or a new me. LOL.

I stopped off at the store to get some sweets for the game and found a shelf where they had reduced an assortment of about 8 or 9 packs, I have no idea why but they are now residing in a carrier bag waiting for me to wrap, the children will be pleased.  On an impulse I also bought a scratch card and won $20, I guess it's my lucky day.

They're fine with us hand watering as much as we like, which is just as well as I planted the dahlias and dianthus, they have suffered a bit but half of them are blooming, I need to dead head more. If Alan comes Monday I'll get him to weed that bed and I've messaged him to ask if he'll spray my garden shed again as it's nice and dry. I have half a gallon of creosote left from when he did it last year. I think it only took about 20 minutes but if I stain it it will take me a couple of hours and I'll be covered in the stuff. No doubt I'll get an update on his metal detecting. Is Don going gold hunting again?

Hi Janet, what a lovely song, I'd never heard it before so looked it up on U Tube, your Don is a real romantic, bless him.

It's not been quite so hot today just 72 with cloud cover and a wind which makes it feel like 65. The humidity is still 71% but with the wind it's not so noticeable.

I went to the hall, met up with Ness  and found a nice HOP puzzle for the heap. I've not had time today to do any of my birthday puzzle but should manage some tomorrow. If the weather stays like this I may cut the grass. Its not been done for over a week and the middle bit is very short and turning brown because there's been no rain, however for about 2 feet around the edge it's green and about 4 inches long, weird, you'd think none of it would grow.
