I dropped my prescription off at the surgery then stopped by the library but the book's not arrived yet. When I was looking in my account I noticed it expired yesterday so I had a chat with Hilary, the librarian, and she said she'd fix it. When I've finished FL I'll check it out, I know I'm nearly a year older but I can't be expired. LOLOL

I did some shopping, to be honest under their air conditioners is the only place I feel comfortable. Fortunately they're saying tomorrow will be 77.

I've sorted the puzzle and did the edges, it's going to be challenging as it's got lots of dark places, it will be fun. Tomorrow I'll work on it after I've changed the bed. It should be ideal to get everything line dry, it always smells so nice. Pippa is coming in the afternoon to do my feet which will feel good.

I've never tried fried green tomatoes I always wait for them to turn red! At the end of the growing season my dad would use any green tomatoes with other veg like cauliflower to make piccalilli, I hated it!!!

Hi Janet, it's been 86 today and when I got in my car it was just over 90. For a bit I thought the air con in the car wasn't working but I think it was in shock and was taking it's time getting cool! The humidity is 72% which makes it feel worse.

I didn't get out as early as I wanted as Sheila phoned and wanted a chat. I think she's missing having her son around. After he broke his leg at work he was at home for 7 months and has now gone back on a trial for a month to see how he copes. He's a mechanic working in the local Birds Eye frozen food factory, they've put him in the office on the computers which he's enjoying but hardly a trial to see if he'll be able to do his normal job, I'm wondering what will happen at the end of the month.

Hello Janet. We did not have any rain yesterday but we did on Saturday, the 4th. It was pretty much raining on and off all day on the 4th until later after dinner… the sun came out and it was nice. It’s very muggy and looking like rain all day today. It’s not hot but the humidity is making it uncomfortable so we have the air on just to keep the air dry in the house . I didn’t take the girls for a walk because I’m afraid it’s going to rain and we will get caught in it. If I don’t go it won’t rain… if I do it will🤦🏻‍♀️. I don’t wash our curtains that often either. I think it’s just one of those things you have to really want to do. I hope you are enjoying the day!!💜
