Daryn was about this afternoon and I asked how he is, it's the first time I've seen him since his holiday. He said he was really poorly while they were away and he's only just getting over it. He's been working so hard this year hopefully he'll take things a bit easier now.

There was no rain at all at Wimbledon, I can't remember the last time that happened. The forecast has just predicted another week of warm/hot dry weather, looks like I'll not be doing too much.   Hugs   xxx

 

I spent some time doing the puzzle, time I should have spent doing some dusting etc, still the dust will still be here tomorrow. I did do a load of laundry and got it line dried. That's the one thing about this sunny weather my tumble drier's not costing me anything as everything is getting so dry outside. I do tend to put towels in for 10 minutes to soften them but other than that it's not getting used much.

I've been watching Wimbledon and am wondering how Princess Kate can stand in heels that high!! Did we wear them that high when we were young, I don't think I did. 

I took a picture of the giraffe dog toy which I'll put in the game, they have 3 dogs between them so it will be well loved. I'll try and send it to you to make Randy jealous. LOL

Hi Janet, this is the second time I've tried this I'm not sure where the last one went!

It's been 72 with 67% humidity, sunny with a nice breeze. I've potted a bit in the garden, cut round the grass near edges and hopefully Alan will tidy them up if he comes. I've watered the bedding plants again and will leave Alan to weed that bed again. He only did it last time he came but some of the weeds have grown 6 inches in the last 2 weeks. I've also got the creosote out for him to spray the shed, if he remembers to bring the sprayer. I now have 3 tomatoes turning orange, they're look odd like little apples, a new variety Sam's been trying this year.

I've sorted enough prizes for the game and will wrap them sometime during the week. Henry will be especially pleased as I still have the ant farm which I'll take next Sunday.
