I looked up D D Black, it seems he's written several series of books, you'll have to let me know how you get on with one. I had to smile as D's surname is Black, small world.

I changed the bed this morning and did 2 large loads of laundry and got them line dry. I've also been in the garden and cut the grass again, it grows so quickly and tomorrow I'll need to pick up all the camellia blossom that's fallen.

When I'd finished out there I sorted the puzzle and did the edges. For some reason I felt really tired so put it aside and read for a while which was a mistake as I nearly fell asleep, so I stopped that and put the TV on and caught up with the Repair Shop and played solitaire on my laptop.

I'm definitely having an early night in case Alan arrives tomorrow, I would like to be dressed if he comes!!

Hi Janet, the 3D puzzle only had about 300 or so pieces and was about 6-7 inches across. The pieces were plastic which made them clip together more easily, I'm not sure I'd want to do another.

I think we probably have far more roundabouts than you, most are really small with just 4 roads off them but we do have one near Gwen and Sheila which has 6 exits and there've been accidents there ever since it was put in. When I went to see Maggie last time they were building a new one not far from hers. They are erecting a new power station which will have so many lorries, big plant machinery and workers using the road they had to find a way on a one lane road to help, so they are widening the road and have put this new roundabout in, I think it will be huge. To give you some idea, between the church hall and where I live there are 7 or 8, rather than junctions they put in a roundabout.
