I got a phone call from Sam abut 30 minutes ago, she was on her way home from playing in a netball game and had got stuck as one road home was closed and the other was being held up by a train crossing so she phoned and we had a long chat until she was nearly home. She was telling me the children will be on summer holiday in 3 weeks, where has the year gone??

I've been trying most of the day to get in touch with Eden, the physio who sent me for the hip x ray. Since its been 4 weeks I figure someone somewhere can tell me what's happening. When I had it done the radiographer told me my doctor would be in touch, I don't think so, I can't remember the last time I saw a doctor. They send you to see paramedics or nurses, I'm not even sure if my doctor still works there! Since Eden sent me I decided she would be the one I needed. I finally managed to get through to them at nearly 8 this evening, they are always so nice and helpful. The lady I spoke to told me Eden's on holiday and as I'm her patient she'll put my name on a list for an appointment as soon as she returns in about 2 weeks. I don't really mind as I'm coping OK at the moment.
