I got luck and spotted the chickadees straightaway so now have the egg ready for a chick. So something good has happened at last 😜

It's easier to spot at the beginning of the month when everyone is doing the Pot Lot as there are more egg gardens around. It's impossible and costly trying to spot a certain chick in other peoples birdbaths. It's Ok when you need to "eliminate" them when you are trying to see what you need. When you know the actual chick it seems like everyone but the one you need shows up.
I'll get there in the end but it won't be quick LOL.

I have just come back online too late 😭😭😭. I have been looking in your garden all day but you had high tables out. I had my grandaughters for the afternoon so didn't come on fairyland for a few hours..... Right at the time you put the low plates out so missed again. I have set up for the egg in my garden but need to spot 3 Chickadees to get the egg. I'm still looking for a chick in others gardens. Not having much luck with these chick vases need to spot a roadrunner to finish one of them and an oriole for the other. I kept getting them missed in the birdbath so I have set up for one.

If I remember correctly Portugal does have a cockerel/rooster as a symbol of theirs. Also Spain and Sardinia where I live. Sardinia also has a peacock traditional ceramic statue and design on many things like handmade rugs, woven linings and painted objects too as well as the cockerel and also a hen. Must be a Mediterranean thing.
They are a symbol of luck.

Oh no I came back too late to see if you had the other Oriole egg laid. It had been laid and spotted .... and a chick missed too.
Your's was the only garden I have found with an Oriole egg all this week. Mind you I was also visiting as I love your ceramic cockerel on your profile pic 😍
