Tomorrow I was supposed to be having lunch with my friends at the carvery but I phoned Jill today to tell her although I was on the mend I was still taking the antibiotics and she may not want me sitting across the table from them. I'd feel so bad if they caught it that we agreed that I'd see her for a cuppa at her home in the week before Christmas. I also need to speak to Ness tomorrow, I'd hate to go to the hall and pass it on to any of the oldies there, I'd feel so guilty, plus the weather Saturday is supposed to be torrential rain which means I'll be able to get on with more parcel wrapping.

That Ice floss was amazing, I'd never heard of it, she was so lucky to have found it. Just think if people didn't have mobile phones we'd never have seen it.

I was so pleased that Sam had already bought Henry's gift, a small battery operated vehicle and Tessa had ordered things for her 2 boys which should be here in a few days which I can have to give to them. Sam has also ordered something for Austin and I'll collect it in a couple of weeks when they've finished with the wreaths.

I've put the things for Sue and the other nuns on my settee, all I can say is I hope no one calls or they'll be sitting on the floor! I decided if I got everything together I'd have to make a start on wrapping them up, at least then they'll look pretty and not just a heap of stuff. There are things like socks and shower creams for them all then special bits for Sister Sheila and Sue who live in the convent house. I'm going to see Sue and Sheila next Thursday so if I can get them done it will clear the decks, so to speak.

Hi Janet, I hope you've had a lovely Thanksgiving and enjoyed the turkey and pumpkin pie. I've only had that once when I was at Lorraine's, the American friend who lives down the road. I think she cooked it especially for me as I mentioned once I'd never tried it.

I went over to see Sam and Tessa, they were so busy getting ready for the wreath making. They'd been to the Christmas tree farm to collect greenery which is removed from the  bottom of the trees before they get sold. They had baskets of Holly, Rosemary, Ivy, pine cones, and so many other evergreens which they had cut in to short pieces ready for people to make in to their wreaths.
