I tried to get someone to do the seals on my double glazing door but all I could get was an answer machine, so maybe someone will call me back tomorrow.
I also had another chat with the girl from the council, I phoned them about a month ago because the lid on my rubbish bin is hanging by one hinge not 2. They broke it 4 weeks ago when they were emptying it. She was appalled and said it should have been done in a week. She phoned back later to confirm they should be out this week. We'll see.
Needless to say I'm getting all my phone calls out of the way but I still have a list of things to do when I get the car back. It seems every time I get through one list there's another waiting in the wings. I'm still wondering when Alan will get round to doing my leaky shed roof. I think he forgets things he's not keen to do. I'll have another go at him next Monday.
