You need them to detour the Mermaids, some don’t use them. They don’t detour all the mermaids, they helped. I sent you a private msg with a good link to help

Now that you are Rainbow you can use your Rubies also for supershrooms.
I just completed the biggest challenge is others going after the final critters, because you only need to spot 3 for an underwater seed, I actually left my pond twice due to players who splashy me out or coming in at the end and spotting what I needed. It was truly frustrating.
I recommend that you do the Rainbow fish first only, you will need to spot 5 of each color fish in other gardens, and have 10 spotted in yours. Not the guppies the others.
Once you complete you will have Rainbow  Rocks that grow a mushroom instantly.
The Rainbow rocks will help alot with your bottom dwellers.
In your in between time during doing the colors you will need to earn tadpoles and froglets for to get frogs when you need them.
   You can store up tadpoles and froglets just not frogs, it is always the fifth frog for frogspawn weather you have a table ready or not.

That's why I'm trying to hang through and finish this one, then I'm going back and finish my Butterflies, I've found someone to help me spot them...so yay! I'm sick of the ftales! I'll come back some time...and I want the bird bath because I love the birds. I have done some topiaries...ehh, very time consuming...green house sounds great, I'm not sure that I'm that kind of player, Avacyn is good and just got hers I think...but she will help you spot and possibly store, in her new greenhouse!
