I'd like to say I'd done a lot more but other than tidy the lounge and flick a duster about that was me done for the day.

I had a phone call from Paul about the front door and he's sending his man Craig to sort it out at 9 tomorrow. I'd best be ready by 8:30 as I remember they came early before and he'll be catching me in my PJ's.

When I came home I noticed a parcel on Daryn's step and it was pouring with rain and the poor parcel was looking the worse for wear. As he's away this week I've taken it in and dried it off. I'm glad I was here when my Christmas puzzle came I don't think it would like being wet!

The hand thing sounds terrific, ones fingers don't work as well as they did and I'd only use it with clean hands and save the cream until afterwards.

Hi Janet, it's been mixed today, first thing sun then rain and tonight will be frosty and very cold first thing.

I phoned the surgery and got an appointment at 8.40 this morning! I saw a paramedic called Toby. I was honest and told him although I wasn't 'right' I was feeling better than I had been. He was lovely, had a look down my throat felt the glands in my neck, took my temperature and prescribed some more antibiotics and said I should be feeling much better by the end of the week. I'm glad I went even if the sinus's are a bit clearer, he was more worried about the cough.

I did go to the shop for a few bits and came home and changed the bed. When I'd done that I was tired, so I guess I'm not as good as I thought I was.
