When I've finished in FL I'm going to have a shower, get ready for bed then start sorting the puzzle for when Maggie gets here. It will be nice if I have all the edges done not that she'd mind. She phoned earlier and said first thing in the morning she was following Randal/hubby to the garage for some work to be done on his car then she'll take him home before coming to me so she won't be here until at least half past 10, that will give me a little time to get more of the puzzle done.

I still haven't seen D but may at the weekend if I'm not going to Sheila's, I imagine he'll think it was funny. At least I didn't send him the Pennies one. LOLOL

My friend Sheila has just phoned to say her son is coming out of hospital tonight and she's expecting him home anytime. She was wondering how he would get to hers but I told her if they were that keen to get him home they'd either get some kind of hospital transport or send him by taxi which they will pay for. They won't expect her to collect him as she no longer drives. I did say I could have gone but she said it was up to them. I think she's of the opinion he's not ready and I'm sure she's not. Anna told them that he lives with his elderly mother and she can't do much for him but they want him out. Sheila said they had sent someone this afternoon with a high stool for him to sit on to wash and a thing that goes over and raises the height of the toilet seat, he's also got a Zimmer frame to walk with. I've said I'll give this Saturday a miss as he won't want me there if he's struggling to get about. She was pleased, however I have said for her to ring me any time if she needs help.

Hi Janet, I tried to see the Beaver Moon last night but had no joy there were too many clouds, it was also Guy Fawkes night not that there were a lot of fireworks. I've heard one or two this evening but perhaps not so many people do them in their own gardens. They're so expensive it's probably cheaper to go to a public display. This year they did one the other end of town on the sea front over the pier and it's free. I think I've told you I was never fond of fireworks I only liked the sparklers.

I went to the library to pick up a book and was going to return one only when I got there I realized it was laying on my settee. Never mind there's always tomorrow. I stopped off to see auntie and have a cup of tea. She's so much better and is now looking forward to Christmas.
