The cold is progressing well and I phoned the dentist first thing and she was lovely when I said no way would I be going tomorrow, she said Cheryl had saved some appointments in the run up to Christmas and I could go next Monday, I was really pleased as I thought I might have to wait until after the festivities.

Be careful of that enamelled Dutch oven don't drop it on a foot, I'll stick with my microwave much less dangerous. LOL

Hi Janet its been about 54 but dull and damp it even tried to rain on me this morning but I managed to reach the shop before it started and by the time I'd done it had stopped.  Alan never came I think he's stopped for the winter and I've not had a call from Mark the gutter clearance guy. I managed to lose his phone number but have tracked him down on line, well unless there's 2 Mark Taylors I've found him.

I posted all the cards that needed to be sent and hand delivering ones to my neighbours. Paul came to the door and I had a few words with him. He said he didn't really bother with cards and I told him that was fine no one expected him to do any, he did wish me season's greetings so he must have been in a good mood.
