Sorry to hear you've been damaging yourself, I think as we get older we do bruise more easily and I don't know about you but I seem to be always dropping things or walking in to something. Perhaps we should have a sign round our necks 'Care old person at Large'.
My friend Sheila was telling me that she had a locksmith put a new lock on her double glazed front door and he also changed the seals. She's going to try and find the receipt to find out who he is as I'm not having much luck with finding someone to to do the ones in the conservatory.
I phoned G Tech, the makers of my upright vacuum cleaner. I only bought it in March and it has 2 small brushes at the front corners that spin and force bits away from the edges of the room into the main brushes. One of them has stopped working so I phoned and they're going to send a whole new base unit. I'll have to take the handle off the one I have and click it on to the replacement. I've used their cleaners for years and found their after sales service is superb. It should be here tomorrow and I'm likely to be out seeing Caz so I'll put a note on the door for them to leave it with Sue and Ian.
