It didn't finish until midnight, then we had to get my aunt, my cousin and his wife, his 2 daughters plus one boyfriend and myself all together then find our taxi to take us home. I'd left my car at aunties so was dropped off with her and drove home. I got indoors at nearly quarter past one. Needless to say I didn't visit FL. lol

I've not done much today just a bit of tidying and I had a long chat with Tessa, then Maggie called and was on the phone for over an hour and just as I was thinking of getting some lunch my friend Sheila called. I did have a snack and spent some time on the new puzzle. I didn't feel like doing too much. I need to be up early tomorrow as I'm expecting a parcel so want to do a little shopping then get back before the postman calls.

I'm so sorry, it's very sad about John and 4 years doesn't seem possible, time just seems to slip away.

Your Randy is no fool is he! Salmon, yes I bet he would eat it. LOL

Don't ask what they gave us to eat as some of it I didn't recognize. I did know the beef burgers, pork sausages, teriyaki chicken and halloumi cheese but there were lots of salad mixtures I didn't know. We sat at tables of 6-10 and they put bread rolls on the table followed by the food for people to help themselves. The deserts were lemon cheesecake, raspberry posset or profiteroles. I think it must be the newer way of doing a 'wedding breakfast' as I've usually been presented with a meal on a plate. They also had more guests arrive in the evening where more food was put out plus pieces of wedding cake. I didn't get to see that cut as it was done on a table outside and there were too many people in the way but fortunately I did get to try it! There were both chocolate and lemon layers, I had the chocolate and it was very good.

Hi Janet, I'm pleased you finally got to see Dr Russ, it's been quite a while. I've not had a bone density test for years, they only did it when I had my radium treatment and after a couple of years they wouldn't do it any more. Do you get it done as a matter of routine or is it that you've had some treatment that could affect your bones?

The wedding went well, the weather was the best we'd had this week in fact it was a bit too hot for the men in their suits. The bride is about 5 foot 7/8 very slim and looked amazing in her dress. I didn't take many pictures as they were mostly taken at the restaurant on their grass and not being very quick or steady I find it very difficult to get round people and by the time I'm in place to take my picture they've moved off. I did manage to get one of her with my aunt, her grandmother, and one with the grooms family plus a couple of others I'll send them to you.

Hi Janet; oh you have been busy! I've never been to Vegas but I can imagine how fast -paced it is. I like thing slow and easy - but I live in NY. My neighborhood is quiet though. I need a bone density test too but all it shows is if your bones can fracture easliy....well at our age....duh! I'm not in a hurry to have that or the other tests dr. wants me to have. You know thatey do that partly to protect themselves (believe me having worked in healthcare for 40 years I know) but of course there are some we do need. I am okay except for my feet (toes a mess) so I have to be careful not to fall. My friend since first grade came to visit yesterday. She came to visit her daughter for a few days and to see me. She lives 7 hours away by car - 40 minutes by plane. She did fly this time although she hates it. We all went for Thai food in a place nearby. How is Randy?
