Good morning, Janet. Layne tripped and fell in gym class last week and hit her head. She had a pretty big goose egg on her forehead above her eye which lead to a very bad black eye. The bruise has traveled down her cheek and across her nose to the other eye. Itβs a faint bruise on the other side. She spent the night in the pediatric emergency department that night with a follow up at an ophthalmologist. She wasnβt eating much and said she felt nauseous. She was bothered by the loudness of the movie the other night and threw up when she got home. I told Heather to call the doctor and get her seen. She went yesterday morning and they said she has a mild concussion. Poor thing is really suffering. I feel so bad for her. π
