I liked the film of the slow moving transport. OMG it must have taken ages to get anywhere, I'm glad I wasn't behind it. Smart move of Don's to go another way round.

Tomorrow I need to return a book to the library, it's by Elly Griffiths an author I usually enjoy but this one was part of a new series she's writing. It's about a police woman who travels through time to solve crimes. I'm afraid it's not for me I won't be reading anymore of that series.

I'm going to finish my sprinkles and try for an earlyish night for a change.

I did go out for a wander around the fruit and veg section and came home with bananas, grapes, more cabbage, mango and a crispy lettuce. Since I already have a enough strawberries for a couple of days he's in for a nice selection. let's face it he's going to be a very spoilt tortoise!!

You made me feel guilty so I changed the bed and got it washed, dried and away and did a swift vacuum through. I've spent ages watching Tommy and starting a small 500 piece puzzle of Ilfracombe, a place in Devon down on the south coast. It was in a box of 2 puzzles from that area so I'll do them both and drop it off at the charity shop as I've not been there for a day or two. LOL There are so many puzzles at the church hall Pat, the church warden, says not to bring any more at the moment. I guess I should start buying a few but many are ones I've donated.

Hi Janet, it's been an odd day one minute a sunny 51f then pouring with rain. I went to get the tortoise, he's huge probably twice the size of Tank and his name's Tommy. Fortunately Dawn had left a plastic box big enough for him to sit in for his journey to mine. I'm quite convinced he didn't mind. I put him in the passenger foot well so he could see me and I talked to him as I was driving. When a tortoise is afraid they huff and puff and wheeze, not this guy he just sat there looking at me. I put him in the garden and brought some cabbage, tomatoes and strawberries. I figured to try him on an assortment to see what he liked. The strawberries and tomatoes went down well and then it rain. He didn't think much of that so wandered off under a big plant and stayed there until it got sunny again and that's what he's been doing all day, food then shelter. Unlike Tank he doesn't have a house, or if he does Wyn, his mum, had it somewhere in her huge garden that I couldn't see, so he's having to find his own sheltered spot. Unfortunately the forecast is for rain on and off until sometime next week.

I like Lantana and the more the better because they have periods of no blooms. Of course, they are annuals here.

Hi Janet; I used the air two weeks ago when it got too hot for me but now we are back to cooler temps and strong winds; had to put the heat back on.
