It would be good for Sandy to hear something, it must be such a worry for not only her but Don too. Our health service is in all sorts of trouble again, the junior doctors are on strike which is the 15th time in 3 years. Talk about 'do no harm', they just don't care. This government gave them a huge pay rise last year and they're now after another 26% it's crazy. Some of them earn over $132000 a year and the newest ones earn over half of that. They reckon the money that's been wasted on covering the strikes could have built 3 new hospitals. Now you understand why I want to get my name on the list for the other hip replacement, I could be waiting years. There's even a 6 month wait for those that can pay privately.

Daryn and Kath came back today, I think he must have had a day off work as I spoke to him lunch time when he was on his way to the supermarket. I guess the fence will not be fixed yet. LOL

On the news tonight they had an item about Lakenheath air base which has protesters blocking the gates. It's a Royal Air Force base which is shared with the US. If you're interested I Googled in Lakenheath protest. My friend Sheila says if anyone takes it into their heads to send missiles this way with Sizewell nuclear power plant just 25 miles south and Lakenheath 75 northwest, with their nuclear missiles, we'd be in all sorts of trouble. This is a very dangerous world we're living in.

On a lighter note I received at text message from my bank about a debit being set up on my account from somebody called GC re Blank 9233. Since I've done no such thing I managed to negotiate the banking phone AI, who desperately wanted me to go on the banks App, [no way] and get it cancelled. After I'd cancelled it 'she', the AI, said I have now cancelled the Direct debit to Hughes Electrical. Oops, I do have a debit with them but I don't know them as GC blank 9233, I'm thinking I'd best go and see them tomorrow to explain you don't send weird texts to me you write a nice letter. lol

Hi Janet, well I was up early and ready for Pippa when she got here at half 8, she wasn't early for a change and I had time to change the bed and get the laundry on. When she left the washing machine finished it's cycle and I got the laundry on the line with another load of towels and it got dry. I just finish it off for about 10 minutes in the drier.

I went to the shoe repairer and he made a lovely job of changing the Velcro, to be honest to look at my shoes you'd never guess which one he'd worked on. It cost about $17 and I was happy as the shoes cost about $110 and they'll last another couple of years at least.

I guess we have to expect ups and downs in the weather, particularly in spring.

Flora watered the Daffodil, and spotted an Easter Bunny feeding on the Veggies! (This is the 217,957th Easter Bunny spotted so far this year!)

Happy Tuesday, Janet. Thanks for the yellow wagtail. I hope you had a nice Easter. We are taking Liam to see the super Mario galaxy movie this afternoon when he gets out of school. It is winter again here, literally. It’s 29° and snowing. We have about an inch or so stuck on the ground, cars,roofs and roads. Next week is supposed to be in the 70s so fingers crossed that that happens. Winter is getting old around here. I am over it.Lol💜
