Tomorrow when I go over to Loddon to see Sam I'll call in at the large charity shop they have there. I haven't been in it for a couple of months so it should be interesting to see what they have.

I told Sam about the 2 cake slices I found in the little cupboard yesterday and asked if she would like them. Her answer was straight to the point, 'we eat cake, what a good idea!' I told her one must date back to the early 70's when I was first married. Just think they're back in style, 'mid century modern', so we're not old we've just gone full circle and come back in fashion!

It was interesting when you mentioned the AI film, Bill's daughter-in-law had done one of Bill when he was about 6/7. I have no idea how but it was very impressive.

Hi Janet, it's been a lovely day 66 and tomorrow should be similar. Tommy made me smile this morning I was a bit late taking him his food and he was waiting at the top of the bank steps. I was only about 15 minutes later than yesterday but I felt so guilty! Late this afternoon I took him a handful of small tomatoes and the mango, he wasn't too impressed with that but the tomatoes he'd sell his soul for, so we are now the best of friends. Plus I also went shopping and got some more lettuce, savoy cabbage, strawberries and more small tomatoes so he'll be very happy when I take him breakfast tomorrow. Tank was never that fussy about food, some lettuce and a dandelion flower or two and and he was a happy boy. I think he was more of a forager than Tommy.

Sam phoned to ask me over tomorrow lunch time, I'll take a baguette and something to put in it as she's potting up some tomato plants for me, pity Tommy won't be here to help me eat them!
