I spoke with Ness this evening to see if she was going to the hall in the morning. She's not only not going to the hall she's off to Poland with her granddaughter in the morning. Her granddaughter bought her the trip as a Christmas present. It's a place she'd always wanted to go so she's thrilled. It's a short trip so I should catch up with her next weekend.

I noticed when I went out that Sue and Ian, opposite mine, still have their Christmas lights outside. They're not working but I wonder when they'll come down, he spent ages putting them up, maybe 3/4 days. There's not that many maybe he'll leave them there until next year. LOLOL

Hi Janet, It's been a miserable day. Since last night it's rained non stop but at least the snow has gone. There was a lot of wind when I went to bed then just rain and more rain all day. I don't think there's much more than a couple of inches but believe me it still makes you wet when you go outside. I should say it's almost midnight and it's still raining!!

Pippa came before 9 this morning to do my feet but admitted she didn't think shed get to all her customers. I'm not surprised, I was amazed she even came here, poor girl was very wet. After she'd gone I changed the bed, did the laundry, went to get the local paper and when I got home made a couple of phone calls then felt quite odd, completely washed out. I didn't sleep well last night so maybe that was why. To tell you how 'off' I felt I didn't even do the puzzle. It lasted until early this evening and then I felt much better. I put it all down to my age!!

Good afternoon Janet. I love your garden picture, who is it of?  I love old pictures. I find then fascinating. Before my Aunt passed away she was cleaning out an area in her walk in attic space because she was having plumbing problems and they needed to access the wall behind the shower stall. When they cut into the wall they found an old photo in a very old ornate frame. My Aunt was going to throw it away but I took it instead. I have no idea who the people are in the picture but I love it. I suppose if I dug really deep and researched who owned/lived in the house I may stumble upon the family name…maybe. Sounds like it’s going to get cold for you…29 degrees, brrr 🥶. That is normal for us here this time of year. We had a nice day yesterday with a lot of snow melt and sunshine. We were able to take down all the outdoor Christmas lights. The girls are both doing good. They are napping right now so it’s quiet…lol. Have a great afternoon and enjoy your weekend 💜
