Yes, my long walks with the camera are a lovely distant memory. Its hard to believe I used to walk for hours and hours no problems at all. Now 500 steps and I am exhausted and in a world of pain. Hopefully I will be fixed in a few months and back to normal by the end of the year. In the meantime I just live through other people's photos (hint hint ) xx

I thought I'd never get to Maggie's fortunately I left mine so I could be with her by 10. Normally it takes about and hour and a half but today I got on to the small road that goes across country to hers and met a 'Road Closed' sign. I phoned her and she said the only thing to do was to retrace my journey back to the main road and try to find a way around it. When I got back on the road I found they'd put up some diversion signs, so I followed those until I realised they were a diversion for somewhere else!!  Anyway I did see a sign post with a place name I recognised near where she lives. Did I say it was not my day, I went along another little narrow road only to meet an on coming extra wide load. Fortunately there was a field entrance I could get into [no pavements just bushes], so into the field I went while he went past. OMG I don't want another journey like that. On the way home a police car was parked across the main road, I've no idea why, but it was closed and I had a 20 mile diversion. I phoned Maggie when I got home and told her I have a few more grey hairs and next time she can come to me. Needless to say she laughed.

Hi Janet, I'm so pleased, I was telling Maggie about Randy and said it didn't sound very good. I'll let her know tomorrow that he's back with you.

I'm hoping Sam will be feeling a bit better by this evening as she'll have had 3 days of antibiotics. I'll try phoning her tomorrow or Sunday depending if she's at home. The children are on easter break and they do so much it's not always easy to catch her in.
