I'd like to say I did lots of other things but only picked up another 138 blossom from the camellia and dug up a few more weeds. I also had a chat with Daryn who's now moving tons, and I do mean tons, of earth around the back garden. He thinks it will take about 4 to achieve whatever he's going to do! I don't ask too many questions as he seems to change his mind like the wind, He did say today that he may have decking outside the back door, that's a new one, it was going to be paving slabs.

I did some of the puzzle, I think it will be a fun one, lots of people which makes it more difficult.

Tomorrow I'm going for the latest covid vaccine, I'm a bit iffy about having it as everyone I've spoken to that has already had it seems to have trouble. Since I've never had any problems I'm hoping I can keep up my record. 

Sounds like you need to get your winter woollies out again, it's miserable being cold, take care, big hugs.   xxx

Hi Janet, it's been a mixed day, dull and raining first thing then sunny and cool this afternoon. I did some laundry and waited for the 'men' to arrive. The boiler service man came early about 9 and wasn't here long. Since the boiler is only a year old there wasn't much he needed to do, other than check it is safe and that I have a carbon monoxide alarm. I have 2, one from the old boiler and the other just a year old. He told me that it the warranty would run out on it in 9 years and I said I'd worry about that then. I'll be 85/86 who's saying I'll last that long. lolol

I hate waiting for people to come, I don't seem able to settle to anything much. The drain man came  about 1 o'clock. After removing the man hole cover he found that the roots of my fuchsia bushes had grown down and blocked it, The fuchsias are only a couple of feet high but they are hardy and I keep them cropped so maybe if I let them grow they'd be big and would need deep roots. Oops, next time when Alan comes I'll get him to dig them up and plant some perennials in their place.

Good afternoon, Janet I hope you are having a great day. It is very windy and gloomy today. It’s not that cold but the wind is making it seem colder. We have a few days of bad weather ahead of us. I hope it will be nice next weekend for Mother’s Day. It’s always cold and raining/snowing for us. I think we should switch Mother’s Day and Father’s Day around…lol💜
