The midwest storms are really dangerous - hope it misses your family's home. In the eastern US, the weather is much too warm; hope it doesn't bring spring storms here. Our neighborhood had  perfect weather today - sunny, temps in the 70s and breezy. It's hard to stay inside.

I had anther covid vaccine today. I know several people who say they won't have another one but I figure it doesn't hurt, well only a little bruise, so I don't mind.

I finished the Toy shop puzzle and there were 2 pieces missing, never mind it was fun to do. I'll send a pic. I also took the book back to the library but I didn't get the trellis panel, I may take a look tomorrow as they had a lot of things for the garden and there may be something I can't live without. LOL

OMG, 7 Tigers people are crazy, he's lucky they didn't maul him. They'll probably have a much better life away from him. All I can say is I'm glad I didn't live next door to him, surely his neighbours must have heard them and just think they would have needed all that sand at the bottom of my garden for their litter box.

The garden is about half an acre and she keeps that looking great. About half [near the house] is what I'd call the pretty garden where she grows plants and flowers and has a fire pit and barbeque. Henry has a tree house and rope swing and the other half across a little bridge is mostly a fruit and veg garden and a huge lawn for the children to play on, and there's a zip wire from the tree house to a tree at the bottom of the garden. When I go next time I'll try and remember to take some photos.

Hi Janet, Sam does a different selection each year, he always grows tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and aubergines in the greenhouse, plus whatever else takes her fancy and in the garden there are cabbages, potatoes, carrots, French beans, runner beans, strawberries, plums, apples, logan berries, gourds, some red berries which the last owners grew which taste lovely and once again other veg. She also grows flowers and has chickens for their eggs. Henry helps her put the seeds in the seed trays and then pots them on to bigger pots. They sell the excess plants and the produce itself. I don't know where she finds the time with her teaching job, a husband and 2 children and all the cooking and cleaning.

❤   thank you for your visit!  ツ It really is a lovely song.  I feel a bit sad listening to him play because he has decided that he doesn't want to take piano lessons next year.  He's so musical but he wants to do something else.  Anyway, he'll be in Grade 9 so I guess he needs to start making these decisions on his own.  I love all kinds of music too - even a few raps songs but not many! lol  Lighter rock from the 60s and 70s is my go to.  James Taylor, Jim Croce, Bread, Eric Clapton, The Band, the Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel ...etc.  I don't want to be wound up - I want to relax.  I really enjoyed a documentary type concert of the Moody Blues at the Red Rock Theatre (?) - that must be close to you?  I've seen it a few times.
