I've known Wendy since her mum brought her in to my office when she was about 8. She later came to work in my office so you might say I've known her for over 40 years! Since I finished work she would come out with the retirees and a few who still work there for an occasional meal. She messaged me earlier this week to invite me round to see her new house. She's still reeling from the break up of her relationship which ended just over a year ago. She goes to a group where they discuss how their men treated them. I hope it helps her. When I went through my divorce I talked to Maggie and Sheila and spent time getting a new job which paid enough for me to live on. Maybe it's just me but she doesn't seem much better than when I saw her about 9 months ago. She's now taking Wegovy and has lost about a stone in weight maybe that will help her feel more in control. I'm hoping just having someone else to talk to will also help.

I'm now off to get some sleep and tomorrow I WILL GO TO BED EARLIER, I promise.

Never mind I can sleep in tomorrow.  It's been a lovely day, 53 which for here is warm. I spent a while in the garden, those weeds grow quicker than I can pull them up, if it stays like this I'll give Alan a call and he can start sorting it. No, I think that may be wishful thinking I doubt he'll be back before April.

Reading about your Stepdad reminded me that Sue was saying her friend who knows my ex had told his step children he shouldn't be in the house alone, anything could happen. Maggie's mother in law left the tap on in her upstairs bathroom. Maggie said it took ages to dry everything out and it all had to be redecorated. Maggie's hubby hadn't believed his mother was that bad but that convinced him.

Good morning, Janet. Thanks for the squeaker. We don’t have an underground watering system either. Living on a corner, most of our yard is in full sun all day and our house is brick which gives off heat so we have trouble growing much here, along with the deer eating everything,I’ve given up. Living on a corner means we experience the wind more too. We live on a hill with a couple of baseball fields behind us so not a lot to block it. Saturday is going to be 65° and Sunday 53°. All next week is going to be in the mid 60s with some rain and sun. Hopefully that will help to get rid of all of the snow that we have still hanging around. I wish we could skip spring and go straight to summer. Spring is my least favorite because of how messy and dirty it is. My favorite is Fall, I wish we could go there and stay there year-round. Grapes are one of my favorite fruits. We always have them because the kids like them as well. We make sure that no one drops one. Everyone knows what foods the dogs can’t have and they’re very conscious when eating around them. I hope Randy is doing well. I’m glad you are having fun ducking the jeeps.💜
