I'm hoping to tackle the puzzle tomorrow, I do want to get some new slippers that are on a special offer at Lidl. Its a store that has so many different things each week that if you want them you need to go on the first day of sale. I'm sure I could get them elsewhere but it's fun to see what they have in new on a Sunday. I want slippers but they also have dehumidifiers and children's toys and next week it could be garden equipment, dog toys or building tools. Before I go I'll look on line to see if I can find what I want then I won't be tempted by anything else. LOL

After I left Sheila I went to see auntie. I thought she'd had the little op on her leg done but apparently I got that wrong, it's happening tomorrow, Sunday. Our hospital must be trying to catch up. I didn't get home until nearly 6, so by the time I'd got my dinner ready [roast chicken with veg.] it was time to put my feet up and watch some TV. I've been watching something we've imported from The States, My Lottery Dream Home. I'd love some of the houses they have on there, lots of room to store my puzzles. Haha

It's been a bright day after 48 hours of rain, it's 33 but feels like 23, still it's good that the snow has stayed away. They're saying the temps should rise to nearly 50 this week, now that will do me.

Hi Janet, OMG you've been so busy, I was like a little slug yesterday but today I'm fine and back to normal, well as fine as my normal is.

As I didn't go to the hall I spent longer with Sheila, bless her, she gets more forgetful each week. She manages to keep the house lovely and clean but can't remember where she put things. At 86 it's not surprising but it's more pronounced these days. Every time I forget something I worry if I'm losing it and what the future holds. At least her son is living with her and her granddaughter is very good about ordering and getting her groceries delivered. She also has some preprepared meals delivered every couple of weeks or so.
