I had a What's App from Sam who's in Tenerife, I don't know what the temperature is but the boys are wandering about in T shirts, although according to my laptop it's about the same as here. I think without the wind it could feel warmer, we're hardy creatures along this coast. LOLOL

It's sounding like Don's definitely feeling better, I hope he gets his phone call.

I've done a lot of the puzzle and should finish it tomorrow. Maggie will be pleased if I take a wasjig with me, she'd rather do one of those than a normal puzzle.

I've just seen Ian taking out his rubbish bin, that reminds me I'd best go through the refrigerator and check there's nothing that needs to go out.

Hi Janet, it's been 53 and very still so no wind chill for a change. I went and got the milk and bread I also took a shoe in to the repairers as it has a small piece of Velcro on the strap which doesn't close properly and the man in the shoe place says he can replace it. I left it with him and will collect it tomorrow, I was surprised he'd take it on but figure he can't make it any worse. He's a nice guy and fixed my leather handbag strap and wouldn't even charge me. I put a donation in a charity box on his counter and now I'm glad I did as he remembered me so I'm hoping it won't be too expensive!

I have Pippa coming in the morning so I'll need to be up early. I know her of old, she says I'll see you about half past 8 and she'll be here at 8, so I'll be ready for her, I don't really mind because the sooner she's finished the sooner I can get on with the day. I'd best not go to collect the shoe until later as he didn't get it until 3 this afternoon.
