I didn't go shopping so will need to pick up a few things tomorrow after I've had lunch with Sheila. I'll check the fridge to see what's available for the weekend! I usually end up using the item with the shortest sell by date.

It's been a nice day after a gloomy start with temps up to 69 and although it should be windy tomorrow it will be dry and the forecast towards the end of the week is 77, which is my book is hot enough.

Hope Don got his haircut and Las Vegas wasn't too bad, maybe you made some money.

I'm trying for and early night so I'm going to splash around the gardens and then get ready for bed and chill watching a light hearted detective  programme called Death Valley. It's like a short version of Midsomer Murders only not so many bodies.LOLOL

Hi Janet, thanks for letting me know I might not find you, I was having a cuppa with Hilda when I got your message I had to explain who you were. I also told her she would be mentioned in despatches tonight! She thought you wouldn't know who she was and I had to explain that she'd been mentioned before when we go out for lunch. As for lunch it was a lovely meal and such fun for us all to be together and catch up on all our aches and pains. LOLOL I'm the youngest at nearly 77 and like me they're beginning to slow down a lot but Judith was telling me she was off to London next week with her friends from a textile group. They're in to all sorts of needlecraft including quilting and lace making, which she was teaching not so long ago and may still be doing it, I must remember to ask her.
