Good evening Annie it has been a lot cooler here today too. I put some washing on whilst I was gardening and I was going to it out when it was ready. I was sitting for 5 minutes in the garden under my sun umbrella when I heard rain on it. I very quickly tidied everything away and got in doors just in time before a torrential downpour started. It didn't last long but it came down very heavily. Needless to say the washing went into the drier. More rain is due this evening and tomorrow morning, but we need it. Happy to say my car has been repaired, it came to £210 I'm sure it would have cost a lot more if I had to pay for the car to be towed to the garage and then the work carried out. At the garden centre my son and son-in-law treated me to a Hibiscus, a basket full of Geraniums and some African Marigolds. They also bought me 2 scarves, I love the pretty summery ones, and a blue Summer shrug. I have to say I enjoyed gardening today, so nice that it wasn't too hot. Glad you could get in your garden too. Sleep well, catch up tomorrow. xxx 😴🌛🌟
