Hi Carol... I'm glad the hot weather has calmed. I start to shut down above 25 degrees! It's cooler here today, cloudier, and we've had a little rain. Some years ago, a goat willow tree self-seeded in our back garden and we let it grow. We have to have it pruned every year. It's a bit too close to the house, but we get so much wildlife in it. We've just had a whole load of 7-spot ladybirds hatch. They are running around on the patio, so we need to watch where we walk! Any news? xx

Hi Carol, I hope all is well. How's the decking?
I'm going to have a break from Fairyland. I'll leave garden open and come in every few days to top up tables, but other than that I'll probably only sprinkle once a week, for now, just to say hi.
I rarely bother to search for wildlife now. I only keep it going as I like to keep in touch with my little group of waterers. There's only five of us now: you, Cliff, Susan, Gwen, and "Wallace's Garden". It's good that we are also friends on FB :) xx

Hi Carol, the weather was pretty good last week. We had rain to start with on the weekend, then it brightened up. By the end of the week it was very warm - unusual for Cornwall. xx

No, I still don't know what it was/is. I still have it a bit, but I feel better than I did. All very strange. It's good that you've got away. I haven't been to Weston Super Mare for years. We keep saying we must go that way again. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. xx

It was quite good. There were 8 cats, all rescued, and one only had 3 legs and half a tail, but it got around OK. Strangely, it could run better than it could walk. Managed to make a fuss of most of them. Some were too high up. They had a good setup. Lots of places to sleep and hide. Would go again. xx
