I forgot about Eccles cakes. This is a tad more firm than Eccles but that could be just a variation from baker. Similar taste and crust. We have Scottish and Irish festivals here where I have sampled wonderful treats. We also have an Irish bakery nearby with lots of sweets and savory pies and a lovely scotch egg.
We got 9cm of snow today. I used the snowblower this morning and then again this afternoon. Blegh
I videoed Penny playing this morning on the other side of the front room. Then Duncan tried to surprise her and she just walked away. So glad that she is fitting in. It makes all the work I did to rescue her worth the effort.
