I haven't played that in absolutely years... I think the last time I did, the windmill flipped my ball right back at me... lol...

it's fun, spend time with people that you may just see in church, but also spend time with people in the community, especially the dinner, not everyone golfs, some just come for the dinner. It's a lot of fun, and they have gifts, say for the longest putt etc... I won that last year... so surprised...... I golf twice a year, so a nice bonus....

yes I do as well, I've made several lap types or crib size ones, have put them in our church gold tournament auction. It's a fun time, we play a round of golf, go back to the church to a nice dinner, and then have an auction for all the things that people donate. There are some huge things, mine pale in comparison, but together it works as a fundraiser.

organizing is a big thing. But I learned to sew on an old treadle machine my grandmother and mother had when I was 11. I loved it... my mother made so many of my clothes, and christmas gifts on that machine. I have it in my basement, but it would have to be serviced to get it to work now, and needs a belt.  I don't think I have the right footwork for it anymore... lol..... I spent 27 years or so, doing alterations for others... I'm just getting into quilting, but not as full on as others, just playing with it.

wow thank you I didn't look at that yet, just got on and saw your message... I've been cleaning my sewing room for a bit today, looking for a couple of patterns, have to make 4 pairs of sleep pants for my grandkids, well 3 and a pair for my oldest granddaughters partner.
