Hi Kay, I’ve been out all morning getting my steps in and shopping. I had another migraine yesterday afternoon. I lay down as I have visual auras with it and can’t see a thing so lay down and shut my eyes. I went to sleep for a couple of hours yesterday and felt better when I woke up. I can go years without having migraines but I have had 3 in the last 2 months. Hopefully they’re not going to get more frequent. I used to suffer with them a lot when I was younger and unfortunately, Nicola and Tara have inherited them!
I’ve done half my packing for next week and as soon as my ironing comes back I’ll finish it. It should be back either later on today or tomorrow.
Tara, Greg and the kids have just come back from Majorca, the same place as we are going next week. The day after they came back, yesterday, Jay went to Rome with his friends and today Holly went to the south of France with her friends. I can’t believe they are now going abroad on their own but I suppose they are nearly 17 and 19. I bet Tara and Greg are worried about them though. Holly isn’t entirely on her own though, one of the Dads is staying along the road from them with his cousin to keep an eye on the girls.
I’ve completed the easy, intermediate and extreme quests and I’m trying to do the advanced one in time. I’ve got a week to complete it so I should have time.
It’s great that you are relatively free from pain after all this time Kay, I bet you are over the moon, keep up the exercises.
It’s cooled down here today but still 23 degrees but set for another heatwave in a couple of days time. It’s quite cloudy here this afternoon after a sunny morning but still very muggy.

Morning Kay, sorry I was in bed most of the afternoon and evening yesterday as I had a migraine. I didn’t see the cat reel until this morning, I thought it was cute, thank you for sending it to me. I don’t think Nathan got his as you sent it to me, the prefix said hi Nathan lol.
It’s great news about your legs if the injections alleviate most of the pain, brilliant. You must be so pleased as you’ve had pain in your legs for so long.
I’m sorry that I haven’t been around for a few days but I’ve been out a lot with Peter. We had a good time at Sandie’s Saturday afternoon and evening. She always makes a good host but she’s a terrible feeder, the champagne was flowing and she did lots of nibbles and blue cheese chicken and roast potatoes for dinner.
I’ve nearly completed the extreme, intermediate and easy quests, just a critter on each I have to attract or spot. I do them all in conjunction with each other so it’s quicker but I haven’t even started the advanced one yet.
I’m not going out today, I have a few jobs to do indoors and I might start my packing for Majorca. I’ll take it easy though as I had a migraine yesterday and it could easily come back as my head feels a bit delicate today.
It’s raining here today as well but it’s still going to be warm, about 25 degrees according to Alexa lol.

I’m so sorry you’re not getting on with your stairlift. It doesn’t sound fit for purpose! Did your social worker come round to see it? After you waited so long it a bit of a bummer that it’s so horrible. I hope you’ll get used to it.
It’s great that Sarah passed her driving test and it was a lovely photo you sent me of Harry, he has got so big.
I’ve nearly finished the extreme quest, I only need to spot the Knave of Hearts but no one seems to attracting him. I’ve paused it and started the easy quest and growing a sunflower, I do like the Gnome pots.
We are going to Sandies later this afternoon for dinner and a drink with Nicola and Paul. The boys were meant to clear out  her garage but it’s going to be too hot. Hope it’s cooler where you are. It’s in the low 30’s here and it’s meant to be the hottest day of the year today. I’m still on my bed in front of the fan at the moment as it’s the coolest room. It’s the hottest later as the sun goes to the front of the house in the afternoon.

Morning Kay, it’s been hot her too and set to get hotter. I’m indoors sitting in front of my fan most of the time. I can’t stand the heat these days. When I get to Majorca in a couple of weeks time I won’t be out of the pool.
Did they get your stairlift finished. If they did I bet you keep going up and down the stairs on it. Lol.
I’ve nearly finished the extreme quest but it’s been a slog and I need to spot 3 more critters yet. I don’t know if I’ll have time to do the rest but I’ll have a good go.
Yes, I have unpacked my case. Everything is waiting to be sent away for ironing and then repacked for Majorca. Tara, Greg and the kids went yesterday for a week. The kids have finished their exams, Jay, A levels and Holly GCSE’s. I can’t believe that Jay’s going to university in October, it doesn’t seem possible. Where has the time gone, it’s frightening.
Peter is at the gym as usual, I don’t know what he’ll do when he starts his new job next month. When he comes home we are going out shopping and to collect his medication but he seems to take longer and longer in the gym. He loves it!
I should go back but I can’t get the incentive!

Morning Kay, yes, I’m back in the land of the living but been busy. I still haven’t unpacked my case. I went out yesterday with my sisters for lunch and a drink, I had sausages and mash.
We came back from Spain on Thursday and went straight out for a meal. On Friday I went to the dentist, I’m still having trouble with my teeth. I’ve got to go back on Monday!
Today is my only free day since I got back so I’ll start unpacking whilst Peter is at the gym, he’s just left. He’s going to a yoga class this morning.
I didn’t have any momentous meals on holiday, we had Chinese, fish and chips, Indian, pizza, nothing special.
I bet you can’t wait for your stairlift to be fitted on Tuesday, it should only take one day surely.
Harry sound as if he’s getting big, where does the time go!
I’m still plodding along with the extreme quest. It’s taking so long that I doubt if I’ll have time for the others. I hope they don’t bring out vases this month.
I’ve just finished my second cuppa so I had better make a start on my case.
I definitely brought the sun Back with me but it’s been too hot and muggy, I hate it.

Morning Kay, yaaay, I’m so pleased that your stairlift is going in at last. Hopefully, it will ease your legs a bit. I don’t like to think of you in constant pain.
It’s our last day today, we fly home in the morning so have to leave here at 8am tomorrow. It’s grey and cloudy outside today, I was hoping it would be sunny so I could get out and sunbathe. Peter is at physio at the moment and after I’ve finished this I’m going to start my packing. It shouldn’t take long, it’s always easier to pack to go home.
I hope you get to see Harry today. I can’t believe he’s 8 months already. Where does the time go!!
I’ve finally found the correct candy to get the Rainbow Candydevil so I’ll move on to Alice today. This extreme quest is hard, I don’t know why I put myself through it lol

Hi Kay, I had a lovely day and evening on my birthday. I didn’t mention your card to you as I didn’t know it was from you until I had opened it. All the cards I received before my birthday I gave to Peter to bring here unopened and I opened them on my birthday. I can’t believe I’m 72, that’s old lol.
Did BG sort out your radiator and stop the leak? It’s one thing after another with you but at least you found it.
How’s the pain in your legs now? What causes it? Have you heard anything more about your stairlift?
We’ve only got a couple of days left here in Spain. I feel like we’ve been forever lol. When we get home we only have 3 weeks before we are off to Majorca. It’s our last holiday for a while though, we haven’t got anything else booked.
The weather has been rainy and chilly back home so I’m not looking forward to that.
