Hi Viv, what a shame about the rain but sometimes on the continent it disappears as fast as it came. I hope by now (3 days later - sorry about the tardy reply) you're managing to enjoy some sunshine. Our tree is decorated now. Colin didn't put the lights on the way I normally do and I feel you can see the wires but it's a 7 foot tree and so I am not taking all the lights off to re-do it. Now all the baubles are on it's not as noticeable - but I can still see them :-D
Apart from Colins main present I am now finished with my Christmas shopping. We did a huge grocery shop on Wednesday, put a lot of stuff in the freezer & also bought the wine, Baileys etc for the festive season as Tesco had 20% discount for their staff this week which is a big saving. I will just need to get fresh veg, fruit, cream etc next week. It's been a miserable 2 days here, very wet although not cold for the time of year. I had Thomas today but was in town this evening & got my nails done. I'm out on Sunday with 2 friends for a festive lunch, hairdresser on Monday which is badly needed, Thomas & Granny again on Tuesday, the family for a meal on Wednesday so I'm pleased I'm pretty well organised now - just the house to clean. Lol :-)

I HAD A LADY FROM THE FALLS TEAM COME AND SEE ME  THE DAY BEFORE YESTERDAY SHE WAS LOVELY AND ADDED A CADDY TO MY ZIMMER DID I TELL YOU I CAME OUT OF HOSPITAL WITH ONE? SHE ALSO ASKED ME IF I WANTED A ROLLATER THAT IS WHAT I WANTED IN THE 1ST PLACE AND THEY WERE DELIVERED YESTERDAY. TALK ABOUT QUICK I HAVE STUFF IN THE SHE I,VE TRIED TO SEND BACK TO NO AVAIL. NOW I CAN GO OUTSIDE SAFTELY TO MY BENCH AND SIT OUT IN SUMMER (ROLL ON) I HAVE A FEW PHONE CALLS TO MAKE THIS AFTERNOON SEEING AS I WAS UP LATE THIS MORNING SO ONLY HAD ONE CUPPA SO WILL TALK LATER AND HOPE YOU GET HOME SAFTELY XXXX

Hi Viv, our tree came out the loft yesterday & is now up but still waiting for lights & baubles etc which I hope to do this afternoon - along with some grocery shopping, ironing & cooking. We stopped the real trees about 6 years ago & got a nice artificial tree which cost £250 but is very nice & very realistic although it obviously doesn't smell like a real tree. I didn't get into FL at all yesterday so I wanted to catch up here first. I agree, the Robins are the most difficult to spot & attract. I seem to spot plenty when I don't need them but not when I do need them. Yes Thomas is much better now thanks. He will be here tomorrow & we will also have to go to town to take Colins' Mum shopping & have our evening meal with her, hence doing a bit of preparation & cooking today. I prefer to do as much as possible at home as her kitchen is always freezing - she has the windows in kitchen & dining area open all the time which I think is because she doesn't have a cooker hood to disperse cooking smells. If I close the windows she opens them again, it drives me daft, so I now try to spend as little time as possible in that room. If I don't "see" you before you head off to Spain, have a lov
